Why Explosion Was Created
Explosion was created because of our shared dream: to build a community in Berlin that's hungry to improve and to become the best community in Europe.
We wanted to bring joy to events and change the way they are done, where dancers focus on passion, not just product.

Leveling Up
We are always pushing to change what is possible in Berlin. Since 2022, we have worked to bring the best talent to the city, host the highest-quality workshops, and create unforgettable experiences for dancers.
Our Spirit
We believe dancing should be for everyone: to enjoy themselves, challenge themselves, and grow together. What we strive to create is an atmosphere like meeting your friends, only there are a lot more of them.
Community Grows
Our community keeps growing. Each year our family becomes bigger and stronger. We are incredibly grateful to see our concept embraced so warmly and received so positively.
New Concepts
We were the first event in Germany and the second in Europe to dedicate an entire edition to Role Rotation, a concept created to bring freedom to the dancefloor and promote greater equality in social dancing. We repeat it every year.
The Future
We will keep growing and striving to make Berlin the capital of Bachata, with bigger events, bigger venues, and a bigger Explosion every single year.
